Kuwait City: Minister of Information and Culture, and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi affirmed on Monday the need to enhance joint action with GCC member states in the fields of youth and sports.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Mutairi emphasized the significance of this initiative while welcoming UAE's Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sultan Al Neyadi. Al Neyadi is set to participate in the 38th meeting of GCC sports and youth ministers, scheduled to take place in Kuwait on Tuesday.
The primary objective of fostering this cooperation is to empower GCC youth, positioning them as future leaders and crucial contributors to the sustainable development of GCC societies, Al-Mutairi remarked. He highlighted the relevance of the upcoming meeting in advancing GCC initiatives and mentioned that it would cover essential topics related to this cause.
Al-Mutairi expressed his hopes that the meeting would result in significant decisions that bolster the youth and sports sectors, ultimately creating opportunities for young people across the GCC.
