Washington: US Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent underscored Monday the Administration's restoration of the maximum pressure campaign on Iran. Secretary Bessent argued that the campaign aims to keep Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon, deter its ballistic missile capabilities, and eliminate the threat posed by Iranian proxies.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Bessent also noted the importance of joint collaboration in addressing challenges and new opportunities in the Middle East and globally.
