US DHS Withdraws 700 Personnel from Minnesota

Minneapolis: White House border czar Tom Homan announced that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will immediately withdraw 700 federal personnel from Minnesota following weeks of tensions involving anti-ICE protesters. According to Kuwait News Agency, this partial redeployment accounts for 25 percent of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) personnel in the area, as stated by Homan during a press briefing. Despite this reduction, nearly 2,000 officers will continue their operations in the cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul. Homan attributed this decision to the unprecedented cooperation between federal and local authorities, emphasizing the strategic nature of the redeployment.
