Naqoura: The United States has initiated diplomatic talks between Israel and Lebanon with the aim of resolving several outstanding issues, including the release of Lebanese prisoners. US Deputy Presidential Special Envoy Morgan Ortagus announced the commencement of these talks, highlighting their diplomatic focus. According to Kuwait News Agency, Ortagus emphasized the United States' role in facilitating discussions between the two countries to address unresolved matters. The agenda includes the release of Lebanese prisoners, addressing disputed points along the Blue Line, and resolving issues related to the remaining five points where Israeli forces are stationed. The talks, which began with military-to-military discussions in Naqoura, Lebanon, have already resulted in the release of five Lebanese prisoners from Israel. Both parties involved in the talks are committed to maintaining the ceasefire agreement and ensuring its full implementation.
