The Spokesman for the General Secretariat of the United Nations, Stephane Dujarric, said: The war in Ukraine has catastrophic effects on the world.
He added: The grain initiative had an impact on reducing food prices in the world.
The United Nations, according to Dujarric, welcomed China’s peace initiative in Ukraine.
Dujarric continued: We are communicating with Moscow and Kiev to complete some outstanding matters between them, and we are working with Russia to facilitate global imports of Ukrainian grain.
