Tehran: The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and Kuwait-based Sheikh Abdullah Al-Nouri charity signed a grant agreement to aid Syrian refugees in Jordan.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the agreement involves providing financial assistance to approximately 346 Syrian refugee families living in the Hashemite Kingdom, as stated by Nesreen Rubaiaan, the UN refugee agency's representative in Kuwait.
The agreement highlights the strong partnership between the UN refugee agency and the Kuwaiti charity, focusing on delivering ongoing assistance to Syrian refugees. The official emphasized the significance of this cooperation.
Jamal Al-Nouri, the chairman of the Kuwaiti charity, noted that the agreement represents the latest collaborative effort between the two parties, with the aim of ensuring comprehensive humanitarian aid to Syrian refugees.
