UK Summons Russian Ambassador After “Unprecedented Violation” of NATO Airspace

London: The UK on Monday summoned Russia's ambassador to Britain to protest what it described as "a serious and unprecedented violation of Polish and NATO airspace by Russian drones last week, followed by another incursion into Romanian airspace last Saturday," describing it as "completely unacceptable".

According to Kuwait News Agency, a UK Foreign Office spokesperson stated, "The UK stands with Poland, Romania, Ukraine and NATO allies in condemning these reckless actions without reservation." The spokesperson further highlighted that Russia's continued aggressive actions only serve to strengthen the unity among NATO allies and reinforce their resolve to support Ukraine.

The spokesperson emphasized that any further incursions will again be met with force and called on Moscow to "end its illegal war on Ukraine." The UK government's firm stance reflects its commitment to maintaining the sovereignty of NATO member states and ensuring regional stability.
