Doha: Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani reaffirmed his country's resolve to do whatever necessary to protect its sovereignty and national security in the face of the Israeli occupation aggression. "The extremist government of the Israeli occupation persists in pursuing terrorist and racist policies," he said in his inaugural speech to the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha on Monday.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the summit saw participation from various Arab and Muslim leaders, including the representative of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. The gathering aimed at addressing the ongoing challenges and threats posed by the situation in the region.
