UK Police Confirm Accidental Shooting of Victim in Manchester Synagogue Attack

Manchester: The British police declared on Friday that one of the two victims in the Manchester synagogue attack was accidentally shot during their response to the incident. Greater Manchester Police stated that the injury was sustained as a tragic and unforeseen consequence of the urgent action required to bring the attack to an end.

According to Kuwait News Agency, British authorities identified the attacker as 35-year-old Jihad al-Shamie, a British national of Syrian origin. Al-Shamie reportedly stabbed and killed individuals at the entrance of the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue in Manchester before being shot dead by police at the scene.
