Britain is ready to provide an extra USD 500 million of loan guarantees to Ukraine, taking the total this year to USD one billion, British Finance Minister Jeremy Hunt said on Thursday.
The British Finance Ministry said in a press release that this loan guarantees will help finance Ukrainian public services such as schools and hospitals.
Britain has now pledged a total of GBP 6.5 billion (USD 8.2 billion) of support for Ukraine including GBP 2.3 billion (USD 2.9 billion) in military support for 2023.
