Abu dhabi: The United Arab Emirates on Saturday applauded the US-Russian summit held in Alaska and expressed appreciation of US President Donald Trump's efforts for finding a peaceful solution to the Ukraine crisis.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the UAE foreign ministry stated that the summit was a crucial step for boosting international security and stability, as well as enhancing the atmosphere of confidence on the European continent. The statement, broadcast by the UAE news agency WAM, emphasized that constructive dialogue is the best approach for narrowing the divide among warring parties and settling conflicts.
The ministry highlighted that the joint efforts by US President Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to resolve the Ukraine crisis serve as a source of hope for reinforcing global peace and stability.
