Ottawa: U.S. Secretary of State will travel to Canada on a two-day visit to attend G7 foreign ministers' meeting, said the U.S. State Department on Monday.
According to Kuwait News Agency, during the meeting, Secretary Rubio will advance U.S. interests in peace and security, strategic cooperation, and global stability, the department said in a press release.
Discussions will focus on advancing President Donald Trump's peace initiatives in Ukraine and Gaza, maritime security, Haiti, Sudan, supply chain resiliency, and critical minerals, it added.
G7 foreign ministers will build on commitments made at the G7 Leaders' Summit in Kananaskis, Canada earlier this year, it noted.
