U.S. President Calls for Increased Humanitarian Aid to Gaza

Kuwait City: U.S. President Donald Trump has urged the provision of more humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, as the Israeli occupation continues to block aid to the region. According to Kuwait News Agency, President Trump, speaking aboard Air Force One, emphasized the need for Israel to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza. He mentioned a recent phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, during which he stressed the importance of addressing the dire situation in Gaza. "Those people are suffering. We got to be good to Gaza. We're going to take care of that. There's a very big need for medicine, food and medicine, and we're taking care of it," Trump stated. The blockade by the Israeli occupation has been in place since March 2, with Israel demanding that the Palestinian Hamas Movement release Israeli prisoners. This blockade has led to significant shortages in essential supplies. On Friday, the World Food Program (WFP) announced that it had exhausted all stocks of food in the Gaza Strip, further e xacerbating the humanitarian crisis.
