Two People Perish in Spain’s Heatwave

Madrid: Two people have reportedly died due to a heatwave in Spain on Wednesday. A man, aged 75, died in the southern province of Cordoba and another man, 67, died in the eastern province of Caceres, according to the state-run TV station.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the Spanish health authorities reported as many as 380 deaths from extremely hot weather. On June 30, the authorities confirmed 51 deaths.
