Two Killed in Israeli Airstrike on Southern Lebanon

Beirut: At least two people were killed on Sunday following an Israeli airstrike on Southern Lebanon.

According to Kuwait News Agency, a statement by the Ministry of Health's Emergency Operations Center confirmed that an airstrike by Israel on the town of Ainatha resulted in the death of two people.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that Israeli forces' artillery targeted a house in the town of Yaroun in the central sector of southern Lebanon. Despite the ceasefire agreement that began on November 27, Israeli forces continued to target towns and vehicles in a number of areas. Additionally, Israeli forces, which were supposed to withdraw from Lebanese territory, still remain along the southern border.
