Ankara: The Turkish Foreign Ministry on Sunday welcomed the ceasefire agreement reached between Pakistan and Afghanistan. In a statement, the Ministry expressed hope that the agreement, which was facilitated through Qatari co-mediation, would enhance security and peace across the region.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Ministry commended the efforts made by Qatar and reiterated Turkiye's commitment to maintaining peace between the two neighboring countries. The ceasefire agreement was the result of discussions hosted in Doha on Saturday, involving Pakistan and Afghanistan, with support from both Qatar and Turkiye.
