Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday condemned the "heinous" attack that took place in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Saturday. In a post on the X platform, Erdogan expressed condolences to the victims of the attack and their families and wished a speedy recovery for the wounded.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Erdogan also extended his condolences to the "friendly and brotherly people and government of Pakistan." He reiterated Turkiye's unwavering support for Pakistan in its ongoing fight against terrorism.
The attack resulted in the tragic loss of at least 13 Pakistani soldiers, with 24 others injured in the incident near the Afghan border.
