Turkiye, Egypt FMs Discuss Gaza Aid Efforts

Ankara: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdelatty tackled ongoing efforts to deliver humanitarian and relief aid to the Gaza Strip over the phone on Sunday. During their conversation, both ministers also explored negotiations to establish a ceasefire in Gaza, as stated by the Turkish Foreign Ministry in a press release.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the ministers' discussion comes in the wake of unsuccessful indirect ceasefire negotiations hosted by Qatar last week. These talks faltered due to the Israeli occupation's reluctance to end its war on Gaza.
