Kuwait city: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his delegation landed in Kuwait on Tuesday for an official visit. They were received at Kuwait International Airport by a host of Kuwaiti dignitaries, including His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the reception also included His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Chief of the Kuwait National Guard Sheikh Mubarak Al-Humoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah, and other high-ranking officials. The Head of the honorary delegation accompanying President Erdogan is Minister of Defense Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah.
President Erdogan’s delegation comprises several key Turkish ministers, including Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Economy and Finance Mehmet Simsek, and Minister of Defense Yasar Guler, among others. The visit is expected to strengthen bilateral ties between Turkey and Kuwait.
