Kuwait city: Lieutenant General Huseyin Kurtoglu, Deputy Commander General of the Turkish Gendarmerie, and his delegation visited the Al-Tahrir and Sheikh Salem Al-Ali military camps of the Kuwait National Guard (KNG).
According to Kuwait News Agency, Major General Riyad Tawari, Assistant for Financial Affairs and Resource Management, received the Turkish delegation at the Al-Tahrir camp. During this visit, the delegation was briefed on the national guard's objectives and activities.
The delegation's tour continued at the Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah Chemical Defense and Radiological Monitoring Center. Here, Brigadier Engineer Thamer Awad, Director of the Facilities Management Directorate, welcomed them. The visitors were informed about the center's tasks and the advanced monitoring stations, equipment, and devices used in monitoring and decontamination operations.
Additionally, the Turkish delegation visited the Sheikh Salem Al-Ali military camp. They were received by Brigadier General Saleh Ghoneim, Commander of Operations and Training, who briefed them on the camp's facilities, including the shooting ranges, simulation training field, sniper field, and the 91 mechanized infantry battalion.
This visit was part of efforts to strengthen cooperation and exchange expertise between the Kuwaiti National Guard and the Turkish Gendarmerie Forces. It aims to enhance training and joint field work initiatives.
