Turkish Foreign Minister Engages in Talks on Gaza and Syria with Saudi and Qatari Officials

Ankara: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan engaged in discussions concerning recent developments in the Gaza Strip and Syria with Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.

According to Kuwait News Agency, these discussions took place through two separate phone calls. During the first call with the Saudi minister, the conversation focused on potential steps to recognize the State of Palestine, aligning with the resolution adopted by the UN General Assembly. Additionally, both parties exchanged views on the ongoing situation in Syria.

In another call, Fidan conversed with the Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister about efforts to establish a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
