The Hague: US President Donald Trump expressed on Tuesday his deep frustration with the Israeli occupation and Iran for violating the ceasefire agreement.
According to Kuwait News Agency, President Trump, speaking to reporters before leaving for the NATO summit in The Hague, stated that he was "not happy with Israel", noting that "as soon as we made the deal, they came out and they dropped a load of bombs." He further commented, "We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don't know what they're doing."
In a post on Truth Social, President Trump reiterated that "Israel is not going to attack Iran", and assured that "Nobody will be hurt, the ceasefire is in effect." Earlier in the day, President Trump emphasized the importance of adhering to the ceasefire between Iran and the Israeli occupation, which took effect on Tuesday morning.
The ceasefire comes in the wake of a massive attack by Israeli occupation forces on Tehran and other Iranian cities since June 13, to which Iran has responded with missile attacks on the occupied territories.
