Cairo: A passenger train traveling from Marsa Matrouh to Cairo tragically derailed on Saturday, resulting in the deaths of three individuals and injuries to 94 others. The train, identified as number 1935, experienced a catastrophic failure when it veered off its track, causing two of its carriages to overturn.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the ministry of health and housing released a statement detailing the unfortunate incident, highlighting the human toll it incurred. Emergency services, including paramedics, were dispatched promptly to the accident site, providing critical assistance. The injured were swiftly transported to local hospitals for medical care.
