The Spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasool, announced from Kirkuk that the Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief, Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani, ordered the release of all detainees who were arrested as a result of the events of the day before yesterday.
During his visit to Kirkuk, offering condolences to the martyrs, visiting the wounded, and providing financial assistance, Rasool said that the Prime Minister directed that those who fell be considered as martyrs, and directed that all the negligent persons whose involvement in the recent events were proven to be held accountable
