Antalya: Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa emphasized the importance of dialogue and diplomacy as the sole methods for resolving conflicts and fostering peace and security in both the region and the world. In his press statements on Saturday, Al-Sharaa expressed his satisfaction with participating in the Antalya Diplomatic Forum, underscoring Syria's belief in diplomatic engagement as the "most successful way to solve conflicts, promote peace and stability."
According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Sharaa highlighted the forum as an "excellent opportunity" for exchanging views with leaders and officials on regional and global challenges. He stressed the significance of respecting Syria's unity and sovereignty, implying a call for international acknowledgment and support of Syria's territorial integrity.
The Antalya Diplomatic Forum commenced under the patronage of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. It featured the participation of heads of state or government and their representatives, providing a platform for high-level discussions. Meetings on the sidelines of the forum included a significant session on Gaza, involving delegations from Arab, Muslim, and European countries, indicating a collaborative approach to addressing pressing issues in the region.
