Kuwait city: Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah affirmed Thursday that upgrading the Council's service quality and simplifying its procedures is a constant priority, with digital solutions employed to empower beneficiaries.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Huwailah stated in a press release, marking the launch of the Council's new website in collaboration with Microsoft, that this initiative is part of a broader digital-transformation effort aimed at developing the social-services system and facilitating access for both citizens and residents.
The plan includes upgrading digital access channels and simplifying the use of counseling, social, and legal support services. It also involves organizing referral and follow-up pathways among relevant entities to ensure swift responses to various needs.
The newly launched website offers psychological and social support services, provides a platform for reporting cases of violence or neglect affecting women or children, and offers legal consultations through an interactive platform available around the clock.
Dr. Al-Huwailah emphasized the ongoing efforts to enhance staff skills to ensure service sustainability and efficiency. She noted that the launch of the website underscores the Council's commitment to innovative solutions that bolster family stability and protect the rights of all family members.
