Madrid: The Spanish Foreign Ministry on Thursday summoned the Russian charge d'affaires to condemn Russian aircraft breach of the Polish airspace.
According to Kuwait News Agency, sources at the ministry said Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares summoned the Russian diplomat to convey Spain's condemnation of violating Poland's airspace, stating the action was unacceptable.
Albares also condemned on his X account the Russian drones' breach of the NATO country's airspace, affirming solidarity with Poland in the face of the blatant violation.
Poland had declared that 19 Russian drones ventured into its airspace on Wednesday.
