Kuwait city: Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaila affirmed on Thursday that protecting the rights of persons with disabilities and addressing their needs is a fundamental commitment, stressing ongoing efforts to remove challenges they face and ensure their integration across all fields of life.
According to Kuwait News Agency, this statement came during a press meeting following Dr. Al-Huwaila's interaction with a group of persons with disabilities. During the meeting, she listened to their observations and proposals on improving the services provided and developing initiatives that support their needs.
Dr. Al-Huwaila emphasized that the government is keen to strengthen programs and initiatives dedicated to persons with disabilities. This commitment stems from its belief in their active role in society and their contribution to the development process.
