Spain Recalls Envoy from Israeli Occupation Over Diplomatic Strain

Tel aviv: The Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Monday that Ambassador Ana Maria Solomon Perez has been recalled from Tel Aviv to provide explanations following "inappropriate accusations" directed at the Spanish government.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the decision comes after comments made by Gideon Saar, Foreign Minister of the Israeli occupation entity. Saar accused Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez of antisemitism following Sanchez's critical stance on the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

In recent actions, Sanchez's government has implemented additional restrictions on vessels and aircraft transporting weapons to the Israeli occupation. The measures aim to pressure Israeli forces into halting what Spain describes as "the genocide in Gaza."
