Sheikh Nasser highlighted that this honorable gesture reaffirms the distinguished relations between Kuwait and Japan, reflecting a long history of constructive cooperation and joint work. He noted that Japan has consistently been among the leading nations keen to maintain fruitful diplomatic ties with Kuwait.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Sheikh Nasser dedicated the decoration to Kuwait, to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and to all the people of Kuwait. He emphasized that receiving this decoration is a tribute to Kuwait and its distinguished diplomatic approach, established by the forefathers and rooted in mutual respect and the promotion of common interests. This approach has preserved Kuwait's prominent diplomatic standing among nations.
Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad pointed out that Kuwaiti-Japanese ties, spanning more than six decades, have witnessed growth and development in political, cultural, and economic fields, particularly in recent years.
