Seven Migrants Killed Near Coasts of Spain

Almeria: At least seven migrants were killed and three others were rescued while attempting to reach the southern and eastern shores of Spain. Bodies of the seven victims were recovered from several areas near the coasts of the southern province of Almeria, the Spanish TV reported on Wednesday.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the Spanish coast guards managed to rescue three illegal migrants near Alicante province. The survivors claimed that the owners of the boats forced them to jump into the waters when they approached the shores.

The boats were carrying 26 and 37 migrants, and the rest of the migrants have yet to be accounted for, according to the report.
