Security Operations Neutralize Seven Militants in Southwestern Pakistan

Kuwait City: At least seven "terrorists belonging to Indian proxy" were killed in two separate operations in Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province, said the military on Tuesday.

According to Kuwait News Agency, a press release by Pakistan military's media wing Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) revealed that an intelligence-based operation (IBO) was conducted in the general area Mach of Kachhi District in Balochistan province based on reports of terrorist presence. During the operation, Pakistani troops effectively engaged the terrorists' location, resulting in the death of "five Indian sponsored terrorists" following an intense exchange of fire. In a separate IBO in the general area Margand of Kalat District in Balochistan, a terrorist hideout was dismantled, and two terrorists were neutralized.

Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from those killed, who were actively involved in numerous terrorist activities. The security forces of Pakistan expressed their determination to eliminate "Indian sponsored terrorism" from the country, reaffirming the nation's resolve to bring perpetrators and their facilitators to justice, as stated by the ISPR.

President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif commended the security forces for their successful operation against the terrorists in Balochistan. The President stated, "India is spreading terrorism in Pakistan through its proxies," emphasizing Pakistan's unwavering resolve to eliminate terrorist elements and defend the country. Similarly, the Prime Minister reiterated the commitment to continue the war against terrorism until it is completely eradicated from the nation.

Last week, at least four soldiers of the Pakistan army were martyred, and 12 terrorists were killed in separate security operations in Pakistan's northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) and Balochistan provinces. These operations coincide with a surge in terror attacks, particularly in the KPK and Balochistan regions bordering Afghanistan.
