Quetta: At least four militants identified as part of an "Indian proxy" group were killed in a security operation conducted by Pakistan's military in the southwestern province of Balochistan.
According to Kuwait News Agency, security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in the Khuzdar district of Balochistan after receiving reports of the presence of "terrorists belonging to Indian proxy." During the operation, the security forces engaged the terrorists' location, resulting in an intense exchange of fire that led to the death of four "Indian sponsored terrorists."
ISPR reported that weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the militants, who were allegedly involved in several terrorist activities in the region. A sanitization operation is ongoing to ensure the elimination of any remaining threats in the area. The security forces of Pakistan remain committed to eradicating "Indian sponsored terrorism" and reaffirm the nation's resolve to hold those responsible for terrorism accountable.
Earlier in the week, Pakistani security forces killed at least 31 militants associated with "Indian Proxy" in two separate engagements in the northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) province. This recent operation occurs amid a surge in terror attacks within Pakistan, particularly in the provinces of KPK and Balochistan, which share a border with Afghanistan.
