Eastern sector: Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force Lieutenant General Prince Turki bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz today oversaw the progress of the 'Spears of Victory 2026' exercise at the Air Warfare Center in the Eastern Sector, with the participation of forces from several nations.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during an inspection tour, he received briefings on the exercise phases, operational procedures, and the level of readiness and integration among the participating forces. He also visited the advanced air base in Al-Hofuf, where he reviewed facilities and the units taking part in the exercise.
He affirmed that 'Spears of Victory 2026' is among the region's most prominent air exercises, reflecting the Kingdom's leadership in building military partnerships and alliances as well as its active role in supporting regional and international security and stability. He noted that the Kingdom's annual hosting of the exercise demonstrates the advanced organizational and operational capabilities of its armed forces, qualifying them to manage major military drills according to the highest professional standards.
He concluded by emphasizing that the exercise contributes to strengthening deterrence concepts, enhancing joint readiness to confront regional and international threats through an integrated approach and embodying the Kingdom's continued commitment to developing its defense capabilities and supporting security and stability.
