Sabah Al-Ahmad Center Launches 2025 Silicon Valley Acceleration Program

Kuwait city: Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity announced the launch of its acceleration program for the second consecutive year, in cooperation with Plug and Play in California's Silicon Valley, one of the world's leading innovation hubs. The initiative aims to promote Kuwaiti innovation globally and integrate young talents into the international innovation ecosystem.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the Center stated that the 10-day program, set to begin in November, will offer participants a practical experience featuring engagement with entrepreneurs, investors, and global experts. Participants will learn best practices in accelerating startups, building business models, and preparing for investment, culminating in a "Demo Day" presentation before decision-makers and investors.

The program is open to Kuwaiti citizens aged 21 to 35, with a focus on projects in education, health, food and water security, energy, environment, and digital transformation. Proficiency in English is required, as the program is conducted entirely in English. Applications have been open since August 3, 2025, and will close on August 31, 2025.

A briefing session for selected participants is scheduled for September 7, followed by selection days on September 9 and 10. The program will run from November 8 to 21, 2025, in Silicon Valley, with the final report on the experience due by December 4, 2025.

Participants will refine business models, validate product-market fit, enhance pitching skills, and develop market entry and investment attraction strategies. The program includes one-on-one mentoring, field visits, and workshops within Silicon Valley's innovation ecosystem.

The Center emphasized that this partnership marks a significant step in turning Kuwaiti creativity into global impact. It aligns with ongoing efforts to support national talents and open new horizons to global markets. Interested individuals are invited to visit the Center's official website for more information.
