Kuwaiti Amir Meets Omani Interior Minister at Bayan Palace

Kuwait city: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received the Omani Minister of Interior, Humoud Al-Busaidi, along with his accompanying delegation at Bayan Palace during their visit to Kuwait. The visit signifies the ongoing diplomatic interactions and strengthening of bilateral relations between Kuwait and Oman.

According to Kuwait News Agency, in other developments, the Director General of Kuwait Coast Guard at the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier General Sheikh Mubarak Ali Al-Sabah, engaged in discussions with the Commander of the US Central Command (CENTCOM), Admiral Brad Cooper. Their dialogue focused on enhancing joint security cooperation between Kuwait and the United States, reflecting the strategic partnerships in regional security matters.

Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed approval of Australia's decision to officially recognize the State of Palestine. Additionally, New Zealand has announced its intention to follow a similar course of action, a move welcomed by Kuwait as it aligns with its foreign policy stance on supporting Palestinian sovereignty.

In healthcare, Kuwaiti Minister of Health Ahmad Al-Awadhi announced a decision to reduce the prices of 544 drugs and medical products by up to 78.5 percent. This decision aims to make healthcare more accessible and affordable for the Kuwaiti population.

In Gaza, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that 69 individuals have been killed and 362 others injured due to ongoing aggression by the Israeli occupation forces, now in its 22nd month. The situation continues to draw international attention and calls for resolution.
