Regular Flights at Kuwait Airport Resume After Temporary Suspension

Kuwait City: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation has declared the resumption of flights via Kuwait International Airport after a temporary suspension due to emergency repairs on one of the tarmacs. Abdullah Alrajhi, the acting deputy director, told KUNA that the airport was temporarily shut down early today due to emergency repairs on a tarmac, adding that regular operations resumed at 10:25 a.m.

According to Kuwait News Agency, during the suspension, three flights were diverted to airports in neighboring countries, and the schedule of four others was changed. These flights had been re-scheduled to ensure that the arriving planes reach Kuwait as soon as possible. The airport is currently operating normally, Alrajhi affirmed.
