Rahma Global Society Launches Gaza Emergency Shelter Project, Sends 3,000 Tents

Gaza: The Rahma Global Society has initiated the first phase of its emergency shelter project, dispatching relief trucks loaded with approximately 3,000 tents to families displaced and affected in Gaza, in collaboration with the Egyptian Red Crescent (ERC). In addition, 1,000 latrines have been sent to aid those in need.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the Society's Director General, Dr. Isa Al-Dhafiri, emphasized that this aid is arriving at a critical time, amidst challenging weather conditions, with the purpose of providing essential protection and preventing thousands of displaced individuals from having to sleep outdoors after losing their homes.

Al-Dhafiri highlighted that shelter projects are currently a primary focus due to the deteriorating humanitarian situation and the rapidly changing needs of the affected population. The Society is actively working to expand its relief efforts to reach the maximum number of affected families.

He further explained that these initiatives are part of a broader series of relief projects recently carried out by the association in Gaza, which includes the distribution of meals under the "100,000 Meals" campaign, specifically targeting displaced and affected families.

Dr. Al-Dhafiri also expressed his appreciation for the support from generous donors and the assistance provided by Kuwaiti official bodies, which play a crucial role in facilitating this humanitarian mission.
