Rahma Global Society Distributes 900 Food Baskets in Yemen with Kuwaiti Funding

Aden: Rahma Global Society initiated the "Kuwait Mercy Convoys 5" project on Wednesday, distributing 900 food baskets to displaced and impoverished families in the Yemeni governorate of Aden. This effort is part of the "Kuwait by your side" campaign, launched in conjunction with Kuwait's National Day celebrations.

According to Kuwait News Agency, during the inauguration, Aden Deputy Governor Awad Mabjar extended his congratulations to the government and people of Kuwait on their 67th National Day and the 37th anniversary of Liberation Day. He expressed gratitude to the project's supporters, highlighting the Kuwaiti people's brotherhood and humanitarian solidarity toward Yemen during challenging times.

Emad Abdulrahim, Vice President of the Communication Foundation for Human Development, which is implementing the project, stated that executing this project alongside Kuwait's national holidays signifies support and solidarity with the Yemeni people from their Kuwaiti counterparts. This gesture continues the legacy of support from Kuwait since its independence to the current day.
