Rabat: Moroccan Minister of Industry and Trade Ryad Mezzour and Saudi Minister of Investment Khaled Al-Faleh convened on Monday to explore strategies for enhancing the industrial and trade collaboration between Morocco and Saudi Arabia.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the meeting was part of broader efforts to solidify Moroccan-Saudi economic, trade, and investment relations, with the Moroccan minister praising Riyadh as a vital Arab partner.
The Moroccan minister emphasized the significance of the Saudi investment minister's visit, which aimed to further strengthen the bilateral industrial partnership. The discussions also focused on increasing Saudi investments in Morocco and expanding Moroccan exports to the Saudi market.
The Saudi minister highlighted that his visit to Rabat signified a mutual commitment to invigorating economic cooperation between the two nations. He acknowledged that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a prominent investor in Morocco, notably in the renewable energy sector.
