The Amir reached out to the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi through a post on his X account, expressing his sympathy for the victims of the disaster.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the incident involved an Air India Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner that was en route to London. The aircraft tragically crashed shortly after taking off from Ahmedabad airport, leading to a catastrophic event early Thursday. The flight had 169 Indian nationals, 53 British nationals, one Canadian national, and seven Portuguese nationals on board, making it a significant international tragedy.
