Doha: The Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met with Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa and his delegation at the Amiri Diwan.
According to Kuwait News Agency, during the meeting, the Crown Prince of Bahrain conveyed greetings from King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa to the Amir of Qatar, expressing wishes for health and happiness for the Amir and progress and prosperity for the Qatari people. In response, Sheikh Tamim Al-Thani extended his greetings to the King of Bahrain, wishing him health and wellness, along with further progress and advancement.
The leaders exchanged greetings on the occasion of Ramadan, praying for it to be a month of goodness for their countries, as well as for the Arab and Muslim communities. The discussion included the strong fraternal bilateral ties between Qatar and Bahrain and the means to enhance them. They also discussed several regional and international issues of joint interest.
Sheikh Tamim Al-Thani and Prince Salman Al-Khalifa held a bilateral meeting where they exchanged views on current regional and global developments of joint interest.
