Public Works Ministry: Emergency Teams Inspecting Rainwater Sites to Prevent Accumulation

Kuwait city: The Ministry of Public Works said Thursday that its emergency teams remain deployed across locations affected by rainwater accumulation and continue field inspections of all sites. The ministry's spokesperson, Engineer Ahmad Al-Saleh, told KUNA that teams are maintaining their rounds even after the end of the recent weather condition to ensure no water pooling remains and to inspect drainage outlets and verify their readiness for upcoming rainfall. Al-Saleh urged everyone to be cautious while driving on the roads and adhere to Interior Ministry instructions.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the emergency teams have been actively monitoring critical areas prone to water accumulation. Their efforts include thorough checks of drainage systems to prevent any potential blockages that could exacerbate flooding situations.
