Palestinian Government Committed to Gaza Relief and Reconstruction

Cairo: Palestinian Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammad Mustafa confirmed that the Palestinian government is working seriously to provide relief to the Gaza Strip and prepare for reconstruction as soon as possible.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Dr. Mustafa stated during a press conference following his meeting with the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmad Aboul Gheit, that the priority at this time is the people of Gaza. He emphasized the importance of addressing their needs despite the challenging political and security situation. Dr. Mustafa highlighted that it is impossible to separate the political situation in the Strip from the security and logistical situation.

Dr. Mustafa reiterated that the Palestinian National Authority will collaborate with all partners and friends to navigate the difficult circumstances that the Palestinian people are currently facing. He also mentioned that his meeting with Aboul Gheit included discussions about the Palestinian government's actions concerning the political and relief situation in Gaza.
