Kuwait City: Pakistan on Monday conducted a successful training launch of a FATAH series surface-to-surface missile with a range of 120 kilometers, said Pakistan military's media wing Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
According to Kuwait News Agency, the launch is to ensure the operational readiness of troops and validate key technical parameters, including the missile's advanced navigation system and enhanced accuracy. Senior officers of Pakistan Army, as well as officers, scientists, and engineers witnessed the training launch from Pakistan's strategic organizations.
Last Saturday, Pakistan conducted a successful training launch of the Abdali Weapon System, a surface-to-surface missile with a range of 450 kilometers. The launch comes amid escalating tensions between the neighboring archrivals India and Pakistan after the Pahalgam attack in the Jammu and Kashmir region, which resulted in the deaths of at least 26 tourists. India accused Pakistan of its involvement in the attack, an allegation categorically denied by Islamabad.
