Sharm el-sheikh: Egypt announced that leaders from 21 Arab and foreign countries, including the State of Kuwait, will be attending a world peace summit in Sharm El-Sheikh on Monday. The summit will be co-chaired by Egyptian President Abdelfattah Al-Sisi and U.S. President Donald Trump, aiming to promote international cooperation for global peace and stability, according to a statement by the Egyptian Presidency Spokesman Ambassador Mohammad Al-Shennawi.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the countries that have confirmed their participation in the summit include Egypt, the United States, Kuwait, Jordan, Turkiye, Indonesia, UAE, Pakistan, India, Bahrain, Oman, Cyprus, Greece, Germany, France, the UK, Italy, Azerbaijan, Spain, Armenia, and Hungary. Additionally, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, Secretary-General of the Arab League Ahmad Abul-Gheit, and European Council President Antonio Costa will also be in attendance at the event.
The summit in Sharm El-Sheikh aims to address the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip, enhance efforts to secure peace and stability in the Middle East, and initiate a new era of regional security and stability.
