Beirut: At least one person was killed in a raid launched by an Israeli occupation army drone in southern Lebanon, said the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health on Tuesday.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Public Health Emergency Operations Center of the Ministry of Health stated that the raid targeted a car in the town of Rashkananai, resulting in a preliminary death toll. The details surrounding the identity of the deceased or the number of injured were not immediately available.
The Israeli occupation forces have continued to target towns and vehicles in various areas, despite a ceasefire agreement that commenced on November 27. This agreement included the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation army from Lebanese territory, except for a few locations along the southern border.
The ongoing aggression has raised concerns among local and international observers about the stability and security in the region. The Lebanese government has been in communication with international bodies to address these violations and ensure the protection of its citizens.
