Oman Reschedules U.S.-Iran Talks for “Logistical Reasons”

Muscat: Omani Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Al-Busaidi announced that the U.S.-Iranian talks initially scheduled to take place in Muscat on Saturday have been rescheduled due to "logistical reasons".

According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Busaidi communicated the update via a post on the X platform, stating, "For logistical reasons we are rescheduling the US-Iran meeting provisionally planned for Saturday May 3rd." He further mentioned that new dates will be disclosed once both parties reach a mutual agreement.

The planned meeting in Muscat marks the continuation of diplomatic engagements between the U.S. and Iran, following three previous rounds of talks conducted in Muscat and Rome.
