OIC Welcomes Sanctions by Five Nations Against Israeli Ministers

Kuwait City: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has welcomed the joint decision by Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and Norway to impose sanctions on two Israeli occupation ministers.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the OIC issued a statement expressing that the decision marks an important step towards promoting justice and accountability, aiming to end impunity for Israeli occupation officials involved in war crimes, crimes against humanity, incitement to violence, organized terrorism, and genocide. The organization also strongly condemned the actions of Israeli occupation National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, particularly his storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

On Tuesday, the five countries announced sanctions against Israeli occupation National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich. The sanctions were imposed due to their roles in inciting violence against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
