No Peace Achievable Amidst Ongoing Houthi Militia Threats, Declares Yemeni Official.

Sanaa: Member of the presidential command council Aidarous Al-Zubaidi emphasized on Thursday that peace remains unattainable as long as the Houthi militias continue their assaults on civilians and international maritime routes.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Zubaidi expressed during meetings with foreign diplomats that the efforts of the UN, along with regional and international powers, are futile in achieving peace under the persistent terrorist attacks by Houthi militias. These attacks target innocent civilians and unjustifiably assault commercial vessels navigating the Red Sea, Bab Al-Mandab strait, and the Gulf of Aden.

Al-Zubaidi highlighted that such escalations not only jeopardize peace initiatives but also exacerbate the humanitarian crisis. He referred to the ongoing conflict initiated by the Houthi militias in 2015, whose repercussions continue to affect various levels of society.
